Location
Directions:
Southport is close to the region’s motorway network with ample parking. The show is heavily signposted upon arrival into Southport. Note, please turn off your sat nav and follow the official AA signs.
From the South:
Take the M6 to exit 26, the M58 will take you to Ormskirk and then take the A570 to Southport.
From the North:
Follow the A59 from Preston, exit 31 if coming from the M6, and then follow the A565 to Southport.
Public Transport:
Regular trains, buses and coaches run from Liverpool, Wigan and Manchester. There is a shuttle bus available at a return cost.

Thursday 19th – Sunday 22nd August 2027.
Opening Times
10am to 6pm (5pm on Sunday).
Gate Price
The 2027 gate price – TBA.
Late entry ticket (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) – after 3pm. Price TBA.
We encourage visitors to buy their tickets early and save.

The show will focus on health and wellbeing. The benefits of flowers and gardening and the positive impact they make on daily life.

Passouts
Passouts are available at the show. Your ticket will be taken upon entry into the show however, a passout can be obtained by getting your hand stamped.
smoking policy
We have a no smoking policy in all marquees on the showground. This also applies to vaping. Please also be considerate when smoking in the outside food areas and children’s trail areas.
Children
Children under 16 are admitted free with a paying adult.
Carer's Policy
If you are a paying visitor in receipt of a benefit on the basis of requiring another person to accompany you when out of doors or have medical evidence to confirm this, your accompanying person will be admitted into the show free of charge. No ticket is required.
To confirm this requirement supportive documents such as a Personal Independence Payment entitlement letter, medical evidence or a Nimbus Access Card may be required upon entry to the show.
The carer policy applies to show entry only/any one day early bird tickets. It does not apply to the hospitality/packages in the 1924 Lounge/Summer Pavilion.

Can I bring my dog?
Dogs are welcome at the event but must be kept on a lead at all times and owners must clean up after them. Bins are located throughout the showground. Unfortunately dogs are NOT allowed in the catering or food marquees (with the exception of official assistance dogs).
Terms: Well trained and well behaved dogs are welcome at the show. We reserve the right to refuse permission on any grounds and in particular to refuse permission for certain breeds (including but not limited to dogs listed under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991).
A maximum of two dogs per booking will be welcome, unless prior agreement is arranged with the Flower Show management. Dogs must be kept on a lead and must wear a collar and identity tag at ALL times.
Owners are responsible for the behaviour of their pets. Permission for any animal may be withdrawn at any time if the pet is a nuisance and if you are requested to do so by us the pet must be removed from the show ground immediately.

First Aid is situated behind the Grand Floral Marquee/closest gate to Penelope’s on Rotten Row.
Late Entry Ticket
There is a late entry ticket on Friday, Saturday and Sunday after 3pm.

Lost Property
If you have lost property at the show please email info@southportflowershow.co.uk or telephone 01704 547147.
If any credit/debit cards are handed in we will keep them for a week. After this time, they will be destroyed.
Any items of clothing or jewellery will be kept for 3 months. After this time, we will donate them to charity.
PHOTOGRAPHY AND FILMING
By entering this event you agree to photographs taken on the day by approved official photographers being used in future corporate publications and/or advertisements promoting Southport Flower Show.

Train services run from various towns and cities into Southport.
Merseyrail
Merseyrail run fast and frequent services between Liverpool South Parkway (for Liverpool John Lennon Airport), Liverpool City Centre and Southport. Visitors from Wirral and Chester can also travel to Southport by train with Merseyrail.
Merseyrail Ticket Offer
If you are travelling to the show by train discounted Southport Flower Show tickets are available at any staffed Merseyrail station.
You can travel to Southport station from any other Merseyrail station for £2 return on Southport Flower Show 2026 dates.
The £2 offer is available with Tap & Go, our new smart ticketing system, which works by tapping in and tapping out with the same contactless bank card, smart device or MetroCard. We’ll automatically charge £2 for return journeys to Southport on event dates.

Northern Rail
Northern Rail operates regular services to Southport from Manchester Airport, Manchester (Piccadilly, Oxford Road and Victoria stations), Bolton and Wigan. Connecting services to / from the North East and Yorkshire are available at Manchester Piccadilly and from the North, Scotland and the South at Wigan.

Arriva Shuttle bus to/from Southport Station
There is a shuttle bus available at Southport train station as follows:
Route 27 (show days only), Southport Rail/Showground bus service. This is a commercial service offered by Arriva/a fee applies. Given this, bus passes cannot be accepted.
This will run every 15 minutes in sync with the trains.
Travelling to the show by bicycle
If you are travelling to the show by bicycle you can use the facility at the Eco Centre. The stewards will direct you upon arrival.
Accessibility
Access and Disability
Victoria Park has wide walkways and a level surface, providing excellent access to all parts of the show. With a great deal of the show under cover, it is designed to be enjoyed whatever the weather.
Victoria Park has a Changing Places toilet facilities on the park all year round. A radar key is needed.
Do you need to hire a wheelchair or scooter?
Event Mobility (Charitable Incorporated Organisation) will be providing electric mobility scooters and manual wheelchairs at this event for the use of mobility impaired, disabled and elderly visitors.
To reserve an electric mobility scooter or manual wheelchair please book online at www.eventmobility.org.uk/book-your-scooter.
There is a limited amount of equipment available so please book early to avoid disappointment.

Victoria Park has a Changing Places toilet facilities on the park all year round. A radar key is needed.

Parking
Parking
Is available for an all-day rate of £10.00 in 2 main public parking areas: Princes Park (withing walking distance) and Birkdale (a regular Park and Ride service). The drop off/pick up point is close to Duke Street (Gate 4). All parking areas are clearly signposted in and around Southport. Blue Badge car parking is located within the Esplanade (Eco Centre) for £10.00.
Please note, if you are paying more than £10 to park, it is not an official Southport Flower Show car park.
Pre booked wheelchairs and scooters are to be booked in advance through Event Mobility and collected at the Eco Centre, PR8 1RX.
Please note, you can not prebook parking.
Coach Parking
Southport Flower Show offers coach parking, situated next to the Eco Visitor Centre.
The coach parking is clearly signed posted upon arrival into Southport.

Left Luggage and Plant Creche
The left luggage and plant creche is located
near the Grand Floral Marquee/by Bandstand.
Picnic/seating areas
The showground has lots of areas to sit and have lunch or a rest. The main areas are located close to the Bandstand and Arena.
Sell off
The sell-off is at 4pm on the Sunday (last day of the show).
Banking service and cash
Available from Cash for Events ATM facilities and banking unit situated next to the Southport Flower Show offices. Please note that transaction charges will apply.
Patron Marquee
Located next to the 1924 Lounge/Summer Pavilion.
Please note that a valid Patron Badge is required for entry.
